Who this is

The data controller for this site is yorkietwink, a solo adult creator based in Yorkshire. This page explains what data gets collected when you visit, and why.

What we collect

Basic, lightweight traffic analytics — nothing you type or upload:

• The page you viewed and which link you clicked, if any
• The referring site (if you arrived via a link)
• Your browser/device string (user agent)
• Your IP address — but never in raw form. It's run through a one-way, salted hash before it's stored, so the actual address is never kept.

Why we collect it

To understand how many people visit, which links get clicked, and to keep the site secure against abuse. That's it — no ad targeting, no profiling, no selling data on.

Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interests: running basic analytics for a small independent site is a reasonable and proportionate thing to do, and it doesn't override your rights given how little is collected.

Cookies

None. No cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party trackers. Everything above is logged server-side only.

Who else sees it

No one, beyond the infrastructure that keeps the site running. Our hosting provider processes this data on our behalf purely to serve the site and store the database — they don't use it for their own purposes, and it's never sold, shared, or handed to advertisers or analytics companies.

Everything is hosted within the UK/EEA, so no data leaves the UK/EEA and no international transfer safeguards are needed.

How long we keep it

Page view and link click records are automatically deleted after 12 months. If you'd like your data found and removed sooner, see below.

Automated decisions

We don't use this data to make automated decisions about you, and there's no profiling that has any legal or similarly significant effect on you.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or delete data associated with you, restrict or object to how it's used, or request it in a portable format. Since your IP is hashed rather than stored raw, we'd need your IP address (or the approximate time and page you visited) to locate your specific record — just include that in your message.

If you're ever unhappy with how a request's been handled, you also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
